　　营口南楼经济开发区于2002年10月经辽宁省政府批准晋升为省级经济开发区，是科技部命名的“国家镁质材料产业化基地”和中国耐火材料行业协会命名的“中国耐火材料生产和出口基地”。区域内矿产资源丰富，菱镁矿石拥有量15亿吨，白云石储量50亿吨。现有工矿类企业580余家，其中涉镁企业340余家、规上企业78家，已初步形成以耐火材料及制品、有色金属及加工、化工、机械、建材为龙头的五大支柱产业。 

　　Yingkou Nanlou Economic Development Zone was approved and upgraded to provincial economic development zone by the Liaoning Provincial Government in October 2002, It is named by the Ministry of Science and Technology "National Magnesium material Industrialization Base" and the China Refractory Industry Association named "China Refractory production and Export Base ". It is riched in mineral resources, Magnesite mines have 1.5 billion tons, Dolomite reserves 5 billion tons. There are more than 580 industrial and mining enterprises, Among them, more than 340 magnesium enterprises ,78 regulatory enterprises, which has initially formed refractory and products, non-ferrous metals and processing, chemical, machinery, building materials as the leading five pillar industries.
