沈阳辉山国家级经济技术开发区成立于2013年，规划面积155.4平方公里。经开区空间优势明显，依托沈北新区819平方公里广阔地域和沈阳北部现代化综合性副城建设契机，发展潜力巨大，是沈阳都市圈枢纽地区、沈阳重要产业新区和人口集聚地；产业基础雄厚，拥有全省最大的农产品精深加工产业集群，拥有以汽车、航空、轨道交通为鲜明特色的先进装备制造产业，拥有为全市贡献一半以上旅游收入的文化旅游产业，A级景区数量全市第一；主导产业产值428亿元，“四上”企业560家、市场主体5万余个；科技实力强劲，是沈阳北部大学城所在地，拥有高新技术企业234家、各类重点实验室和工程技术研究中心110个、双创基地26个；生态优势突出，环境优美、水系发达，城镇绿化覆盖率55%，“山水林田湖”生命共同体建设成效显著。

Shenyang HuiShan State-level Economic and Technological Development Zone was established in 2013, with a planned area of 155.4 square kilometers. Relying on the vast area of 819 square kilometers of Shenbei New Areaand withthe opportunity of the construction of modern comprehensive sub-city in the north of Shenyang,the economic development area has obvious spatial advantages, enjoying great development potentials. It is the hub area of metropolitan circle in Shenyang, an area of important industries and a population center in Shenyang.The area has the strong industrial foundation. It has the largest cluster in the provinceto conductdeep and finishing agro-processing, the advanced equipment manufacturing industry with distinctive features of automobiles, aviation and rail transit, and the cultural tourism industry that contributes more than half of the tourism income of the city.The number of A-class scenic spots ranks first in the city. The output value of the leading industry in this area is 42.8 billion yuan. There are 560 Up-scale enterprises of four categories and more 50,000 mainmarket players. It has strong scientific and technological strength.The area is the location of the northernuniversity town in Shenyang. It has 234 high-tech enterprises, 110 key laboratories and engineering technology research centers of various kinds, and 26 bases of mass entrepreneurship and innovation. The area also enjoys outstanding ecological advantages, beautiful environment and developed water system, with 55% of the urban green coverage rate. Remarkable achievements have been made in building a life community of "mountains, rivers, forests, fields and lakes".
