　　盘锦经济开发区规划面积47.89平方公里，建成区面积24平方公里，依托全市产业、科技及资源优势，已形成 “一高两新”现代产业体系，即高端能源装备制造产业、特色化工新材料产业及以光学电子产业为代表的战略性新兴产业。已成为区域科技创新和高端产业集聚高地，综合实力连续2年位居辽宁省级高新区首位。 

　　Relying on the citywide industrial strength, technological development and  resource superiority, Panjin Economic Development Zone, with planning area of 47.89 square kilometers and built- up area of 24 square kilometers,has formed a modern industrial system covering high-end energy equipment manufacturing industry, featured chemical new material industry and strategic emerging industry represented by optical electronics industry. It has become a regional leading position of hi-tech innovation and high-end industrial agglomeration and its comprehensive strength has ranked first among Liaoning provincial hi-tech zones for two consecutive years. 

　　高端能源装备制造产业集聚了石油装备制造和油田工程技术服务企业150余家，培育出天意石油、陕汽金玺、长城钻技服等一批头部企业，并推动化工装备、节能环保装备和新能源装备产业得到快速发展。 

　　More than 150 petroleum equipment manufacturing and oilfield engineering technology service enterprises have gathered and a number of leading enterprises such as TPEC, Jinxi, Service Section GWDC have been cultivated in the high-end energy equipment manufacturing industrial cluster. The rapid development of chemical equipment industry, energy saving and environmental protection equipment industry as well as new energy equipment industry has also been promoted.  

　　特色化工新材料产业聚集了辽河石化、北方沥青等石化领域重点企业40余家，是全国最大的润滑油基础油生产基地、稠油深加工生产基地和优质沥青生产基地。经开区将持续推动化工新材料产业精细化升级，重点引进培育油田化学学品、电子化学品、碳材料等新材料产业，打造特色突出的化工新材料原料及中间体的加工生产基地。 

　　More than 40 key enterprises in the petrochemical field, such as Liaohe Petrochemical and Northern Asphalt, etc. , has gathered in the featured  chemical new material industrial cluster. It is the largest production base of lubricant base oil, heavy oil down-stream processing base and high-quality bitumen production base in China. The Hi-tech Zone will continue to promote the refinement of chemical new material industry, focusing on introducing and cultivating new material industries such as oilfield chemicals, electronic chemicals and carbon materials, and build a characteristic production base for raw materials and intermediates of chemical new materials. 

　　以光学电子产业为代表的战略性新兴产业集群迅速壮大，中蓝电子成为东北老工业基地转型升级“现象级”代表。园区将继续支持中蓝电子扩产升级，延伸产业链条，打造百亿级光学电子产业集群。以在建的百思特达半导体材料项目为核心，发挥氮化镓第三代半导体材料优势，打造从LED外延片、芯片到LED封装及产品应用领域的全产业链条。 

　　The strategic emerging industrial cluster represented by optical electronics industry, is growing rapidly. Zhonglan Electronics Technology Co.,ltd has become a phenomenal representative of the transformation and upgrading of the old industrial base in Northeast China. The Hi-tech Zone will continue to support the expansion and upgrading of ZET to extend the industrial chain and build an optical electronics industry cluster of ten billions level ,as well as build a full industry chain of LED products from LED epitaxial wafers, LED chips to LED packaging and product applications based on the Besteda semiconductor material project which gives full play to the advantages of the third generation of gallium nitride semiconductor material.
