　　辽阳经济开发区创建于1992年4月，2002年1月经省政府批准为省级经济开发区，规划面积为3.36平方公里，经济管辖面积25.21平方公里。区位优越：距沈阳仅60公里，南与鞍山接壤，沈大高速公路、长大铁路、哈大高速铁路并行纵贯南北；产业集聚凸显：现有装备制造重点企业32家，产品包括筑路机械、造纸机械、制药机械、锻压机械、采掘机械及超高压变压器输出设备等一批整机关键部件。现有汽车零部件重点企业26家，产品包括汽车轴承、轮毂、弹簧、汽车内饰、制动液等，已成为东北地区有影响力的汽车零部件生产基地。

　　2. Introduction to the Liaoyang Economic Development Zone 

　　The Liaoyang Economic Development Zone, which locates in the Liaoning province of China, was established in April 1992. It was approved by the provincial government as a province-level economic development zone in January 2002. The zone has a total planning area of ​​3.36 square kilometers, and it exercises economic jurisdiction over an area of 25.21 square kilometers.  

　　The Development Zone is situated at an advantageous geographical location. It is within 60 km distance of Shenyang and is adjacent to Anshan.  Traveled along by Shenyang-Dalian expressway, Changchun-Dalian Railway, and Harbin-Dalian High-speed Railway, the zone tightly connects to other cities within Northeast China.  

　　The Development Zone is also a premier hub of industries. It clusters 32 key enterprises of equipment manufacturing, including the manufacturers of road construction, paper mill, pharmaceutical, forging, mining, UHV power transmission, and other key machinery. The zone is also an influential auto-parts manufacturing base in Northeast China, as it is home to 26 key enterprises of automobile component manufacturers, products of which include automotive bearings, wheel hubs, springs, interiors, brake fluids, etc.
