　　2、开发区简介 

　　辽宁锦州沟帮子经济开发区位于辽宁锦州北镇市，沈山铁路、沟海铁路在此交汇，102国道、305国道穿境而过，京哈高速公路、奈营高速公路、秦沈客运专线临界而行，距锦州港、营口港，锦州和沈阳机场均不足2小时车程。总面积56平方公里，常住人口8.7万人，是“全国小城镇综合改革试点镇”、“国家级新型城镇化试点镇”和“国家级熏鸡特色小镇”。区内现有各类企业158家，规上企业20家，依托10平方公里的铁南工业园区，形成了农产品精加工、机械装备制造和化肥三大主导产业。

　　Located in the city of Beizhen, Jinzhou, Liaoning Province, Goubangzi Economic Development Zone enjoys great traffic advantages. Shenyang-Shanhaiguan and Goubangzi-Haicheng railways meet here. Two national highways, 102 and 305, go through. Beijing-Harbin Expressway, Naiman-Yingkou Expressway and Qinhuangdao-Shenyang Passenger-Transport Railway pass by.  And it is less than 2 hours’ drive to Jinzhou Port, Yingkou Port, Jinzhou and Shenyang airports. With a total area of 56 square kilometers and a resident population of 87,000, it is the “National Pilot Town for Comprehensive Reform”, the “National Pilot Town for New-type Urbanization” and the “National Smoked Chicken Town”. There are 158 enterprises of various types including 20 enterprises above designated size in the area. Relying on the 10-square-kilometer Tienan Industrial Park, three leading industries, which are intensive processing of agricultural products, manufacturing of machinery and equipment and chemical fertilizer, have been formed.
