　　Basic information of Development Zone 

　　葫芦岛经济开发区，位于葫芦岛市东北部，2006年成立，是葫芦岛成立最早的省级开发区，也是辽宁沿海经济带重点支持区域。开发区地处葫芦岛港和锦州港之间，沿锦州湾带状布局，距离城市中心8公里，海岸线全长32公里，是葫芦岛对外开放的先导区、体制机制的创新区、特色产业的集聚区。葫芦岛经济开发区总体规划面积69.8平方公里，化工园区规划面积17.34平方公里。葫芦岛经济开发区化工园区规划面积平方公里 

　　Situated at the northeastern part of Huludao city，built in 2006， Huludao Economic Development Zone is the earliest economic development zone above provincial level in Huludao and is a key encouraged area of the coastal economic belt in Liaoning province. Located between Huludao port and Jinzhou port，distributed along the Jinzhou bay with the strip form, the development zone is 8 kilometers away from city center with costal line of 32 kilometers. The development zone is a leading area of opening to the outside world of Huludao，an innovated area of system and mechanism，and an accumulated area of special industry. Huludao Economic Development Zone has an overall planning area of 69.8 square kilometers and a chemistry zone planning area of 17.34 square kilometers.

　　开发区重点发展四大产业：一是以农药和农药中间体为主精细化工产业；二是化工新材料产业；三是装备制造业；四是临港经济。

　　葫芦岛经济开发区十四五期间努力将园区打造成为“绿色农药创新区、高端精细化工集中区、长三角京津冀精细化工产业转移的承接区和安全环保的示范区”。　 

　　During The 14th Five-Year Plan，Huludao Economic Development Zone make efforts to make the zone an innovated area of special pesticide、a central area of high level and fine chemical industry、an undertaking area of Yangtze River Delta Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei fine chemical industry transfer and a demonstration area of safety and environmental protection.

　　一是农药化工为主的精细化工产业；二是化工新材料产业；三是以旅游装备为主的装备制造业；四是以临港物流为主的现代服务业。

　　开发区将重点围绕农药及农药中间体精细化工产业，加大招商引资力度，引进和培育一批精细化工项目。重点培育和延伸原料药产业链、医药中间体产业链、乙酸乙酯产业链项目，形成原料药、医药中间体、乙酸乙酯等三条主导系列产业链，打造多元广域化精细化工产业格局。 

　　Centered on pesticide and pesticide intermediate  fine chemical industry ，the development zone will increase efforts in attracting investment，introducing and fostering a batch of fine chemical program. The development zone will form three leading industrial chains of API, pharmaceutical intermediate and ethyl acetate and create a diversified and wide-area fine chemical industry pattern by focusing on cultivating and extending the projects of API industry chain, pharmaceutical intermediate industry chain and ethyl acetate industry chain.
