　　二、开发区简介 

　　辽宁葫芦岛杨家杖子经济开发区位于渤海之滨，葫芦岛市西北部，距市区23公里，距葫芦岛港34公里，交通便利。杨家杖子地区矿产资源丰富，曾是中国主要产钼基地。2006年8月，经辽宁省政府批准，国家发改委备案，升格为省级经济开发区，全国资源枯竭城市转型发展示范区。现管辖总面积48.07平方公里，辖1个街道、10个社区、3个行政村，总人口4万人。 

　　2、 Brief introduction of Development Zone 

　　Located on the coast of the Bohai Sea, Liaoning Huludao Yangjiazhangzi Economic Development Zone is  34 kilometers away from Huludao port and 23 kilometers away from the urban area, which enjoys convenient transportation in the northwest of Huludao City. Yangjiazhangzi area which used to be the main molybdenum production base in China is rich in mineral resources. With the approval of Liaoning provincial government and the record of national development and Reform Commission in August 2006, Yangjiazhangzi was upgraded to provincial economic development zone and national resource exhausted city transformation and development demonstration zone. With a total area of 48.07 square kilometers and a total population of 40000, there is one street, 10 communities and three administrative villages under its jurisdiction. 

　　三、主导产业发展方向及重点招商项目 

　　主导产业发展方向一是在开发区现有的钼业加工与冶金铸造企业基础上，形成金属冶金和精密铸造产业规模化。二是加快推进资源综合开发和尾矿等大宗工业废弃物循环利用，形成新型建筑材料产业基地。重点招商项目为以钼矿为主有色金属深加工和尾矿砂综合利用。 

　　3、 Development direction of leading industries and key investment projects 

　　The first development direction of the leading industry is to form the scale of metal metallurgy and precision casting industry on the basis of the existing molybdenum processing and metallurgical casting enterprises in the development zone.  

　　Second,to accelerate the comprehensive development of resources and the recycling of tailings and other large industrial wastes to form a new building materials industry base. The key investment projects are molybdenum based deep processing of non-ferrous metals and comprehensive utilization of tailings.
