　　二、开发区简介

　　Introduction

　　东港经济开发区成立于1992年，1994年被批准为省级开发区，2005年首批通过国务院审核，2009年被省政府确定为沿海经济带“五点一线”重点发展园区之一，2017年通过国务院开发区审核公告目录修订。2018年8月原大孤山经济区并入东港经济开发区。2019年度全省74个省级开发区综合考核位列第12位。

　　Donggang Economic Development Zone was founded in 1992 and was approved as a provincial-level development zone in 1994. In 2005, it passed the State Council’s first batch of approvals. In 2009, it was designated by the provincial government as one of the “five-point-one-line” key development zones in the coastal economic belt. In the year of 2017 , Donggang Economic Development Zone approved the revision of the State Council Development Zone Review and Announcement Catalogue. In August of 2018, the original Dagushan Economic Zone was merged into Donggang Economic Development Zone. In 2019, Donggang Economic Development Zone ranked 12th in the comprehensive assessment of all 74 provincial-level development zones in Liaoning  province.

　　全区规划总面积44.84平方公里。截至目前，辖区内共有各类工商业户4000余家，注册法人企业1150余家，规模以上工业企业40家，限上企业12家，高新技术企业25家，小巨人企业9家。

　　Donggang Economic Development Zone has total planned area of 44.84 square kilometers. Up to now, there are more than 4,000 industrial and commercial households, more than 1,150 registered corporate enterprises, 40 industrial enterprises above designated size, 12 limited enterprises, 25 high-tech enterprises, and 9 small-giant enterprises in the zone  .

　　经过多年发展，初步形成以专用装备制造（数控装备、海洋工程装备、精密制造、智能制造等）、食品加工（草莓、蓝莓鲜果、杂色蛤、鱼类、大米等农产品）、新材料（电子陶瓷、合金新材料、建材新材料等）三大主导产业，依托丹东港和海洋红港，实施“港产城”融合发展战略，构建“三区五园”空间布局。

　　After years of development, Donggang Economic Development Zone has established three leading industries. They are special equipment manufacturing industry (numerical control equipment, marine engineering equipment, precision manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing, etc.), food processing industry (strawberries, blueberries, fresh fruits, variegated clams, fish, rice and other agricultural products) and new materials industry (electronic ceramics, new alloy materials, new building materials, etc) . Relying on Dandong Port and Sea-red Port, Economic Zone implements the "port-industry-city" integrated development strategy, and has built a spatial layout of "three districts and five parks".
