简介：本溪湖经济开发区始建于2010年，于2018年2月晋升为省级经济开发区，规划建设面积20平方公里，允许建设区面积11.2平方公里，辖东风、火连寨两个办事处，现入驻企业145户，规上企业32户。开发区先后被国家工信部授予“第一批”工业资源综合利用示范基地；国家发改委授予全国首批矿产资源综合利用“双百工程”示范基地；中国废钢铁应用协会授予全国废钢铁加工配送示范基地；全市唯一一家再生资源综合利用产业园区。 

　　Introduction: 

　　Originally founded in 2010, Benxi Lake Economic Development Zone was promoted to provincial Economic Development Zone in February 2018 with 20 square kilometers planned construction area and 11.2 square kilometers permitted construction area. It has jurisdiction over Dongfeng and Huolianzhai offices, and now there are 32 up-scale enterprises among 145 enterprises. The development zone has been awarded  the first batch of demonstration base for comprehensive utilization of industrial resources by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(MIIT), the first group of ‘Double-hundred project’ demonstration base for comprehensive utilization of mineral resources in China by National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC) , the national metalscrap processing and distribution demonstration base by China Association of Metalscrap Utilization (CAMU), the city's only comprehensive utilization of renewable resources industrial park. 

　　主导产业发展方向：根据省、市产业发展导向，结合开发区产业基础条件、比较优势，确定开发区主导产业为：钢铁深加工及装备制造、资源深加工及固废综合利用、商贸物流及现代服务业三个产业集群。 

　　Development orientation of leading industries:  

　　According to the provincial and municipal industrial development orientation, combined with the industrial basic conditions and comparative advantages of the Development Zone, the leading industries of the development zone are determined as three industrial clusters: steel deep processing and equipment manufacturing, resource deep processing and solid waste comprehensive utilization, trade logistics and modern service industry. 

　　合作意向需求：引进钢铁深加工、高端装备制造产业；再生资源综合利用产业；管泵阀制造相关产业。
