　　辽宁海城经济开发区位于辽东半岛腹地，成立于1992年，2002年晋升为省级开发区，全区区划总面积158平方公里，常驻人口10万。园区区位交通独特，产业基础雄厚，要素资源丰富，营商环境优越。2020年，辽宁海城经济开发区与牌楼镇实行“区镇合一”“一区多园”运行管理模式，园区两大主导产业是高端装备制造产业和菱镁新材料产业。主要打造中国北方高端装备制造产业基地和年销售收入超千亿元的世界级菱镁新材料产业基地，实现创建国家级经济开发区的发展目标。 

　　Liaoning Haicheng Economic Development Zone is located in the hinterland of Liaodong Peninsula. Established in 1992，it was promoted to a provincial development zone in 2002. Now it has a total regionalization area of 158 square kilometers and a resident population of 100,000. The park possesses a unique traffic location, a strong industrial foundation, rich resource elements and a superior business environment. In 2020, the operation and management modes of "Integration of Zone and Town" and "One Zone with Multiple Parks" were implemented in Liaoning Haicheng Economic Development Zone and Pailou Town. The two leading industries in the park are high-end equipment manufacturing industry and new material industry of magnesite.
