　　鞍山立山经济开发区位于鞍山市城区北部，辽宁省中心位置，拥有东北第二大铁路货运编组站，近邻大连、营口和丹东三大港口。开发区成立于2006年，2018年晋升省级开发区，规划面积23.79平方公里，现有各类企业400余户，工业基础雄厚，产业特色突出，现已形成高端装备制造和钢铁精深加工两大产业集群，矿山、冶炼、工程机械设备以及回转支承、精密轴承在国内外具有较高影响力，钢管、钢结构、金属制品生产加工能力齐全。 

　　The Economic Development Zone is located in the northern part of Anshan City, in the center of Liaoning Province. It has the second largest railway freight marshalling station in northeast of China and is close to three major ports including Dalian, Yingkou and Dandong. The development zone was established in 2006 and was promoted to a provincial-level development zone in 2018. It has a planned area of 23.79 square kilometers and has more than 400 enterprises of various types. It has a strong industrial foundation and outstanding industrial characteristics. Two major industrial clusters has been  formed, high-end equipment manufacturing and steel intensive processing. Mining, smelting, engineering machinery and equipment, slewing bearings, and precision bearings have high influence in China and abroad. The production and processing capabilities of steel pipes, steel structures, and metal products is complete.

　　重点发展高端装备制造业，推动冶金矿山设备、节能环保设备、智能装备整装以及水电设备关键部件、新能源装备等细分领域快速发展；培育孵化光、磁、电等功能新材料产业壮大。 

　　The industry focuses on the development of high-end equipment manufacturing, and promotes the rapid development of metallurgical and mining equipment, energy-saving and environmental protection equipment, intelligent equipment assembly, key components of hydropower equipment, and new energy equipment. Cultivate and incubate the growth of functional new material industries such as light, magnetism, and electricity.
