From January 13th to 15th, a delegation of 4 persons led by Mr. Guo Kongcheng, Chairman of Kerry Group, paid a visit to Liaoning Province. During this visit, Governor Tang Yijun and Vice Governor Chen Luping had met the delegation. Firstly, Governor Tang extended warm welcome to the delegation, and gave a brief introduction to the situation of the economic and social development of Liaoning Province. He said that throughout many years, Kerry Group and Liaoning Province have maintained good cooperative relations, with many cooperative achievements realized in the fields of department stores, hotels, logistics, and agricultural product processing, etc. Currently, Liaoning Province has been deeply implementing the spirits of Chinese President Xi Jinping's important speeches during his visit to Liaoning and in the symposium of the promotion of the rejuvenation of Northeastern China, with persistent practice of the new philosophy of development, and the promotion of high-quality development by accelerating the all-round and all-level rejuvenation of the province. With good opportunity of industrial development and financial investment in the present, the provincial government of Liaoning hopes that Kerry Group would further increase its investment amount in the province, and accelerate the down-to-earth cooperation process in the fields of tourist resource development, hi-tech, and shipping logistics, etc. to a higher level and with wider scope to achieve mutual benefit and development. The delegation was accompanied by Tang Shenfei, the Deputy Director General of Department of Commerce of Liaoning Province during the visit.
