On January 16th, the launching ceremony of China (Liaoning) CEEC Pavilion was officially held in Tiexi District of Shenyang. Over 300 delegates, including the ambassadors of the embassies of 12 Central-Eastern European countries, leaders of the national, provincial, municipal and district-level departments of China, Liaoning Province, Shenyang and Tiexi District, and representatives of the commerce departments of other cities in Liaoning and the relevant enterprises, participated in the launching ceremony to witness the moment of the official launching of the national pavilion.

　　In recent years, Liaoning Province has been putting great emphasis on the all-round opening-up, and in-depth integration with the construction of "the Belt and the Road" initiative. The construction of the Liaoning "16+1" Economic & Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone has been one of the strategic measures for the Liaoning Provincial CPC Committee and the Liaoning Provincial People's Government to implement the relevant national-level policies put forward by the Central CPC Committee and the State Council, which has been a part of the working plans in Working Report of Liaoning Provincial People's Government for successive two years on end, with the aim of creating a new layout of "Ningbo in the South and Liaoning in the North" for the cooperation between China and Central-Eastern European countries (CEE countries). Liaoning has currently become the Chinese chairman province for the next Joint Conference of Governors of China and CEE Countries, and will hold the 5th Conference of Local Leaders of China-CEE Countries. The 16 national pavilions of Central-Eastern European countries have become the important platforms and medium for the implementation of "Sofia Compendium of the Cooperation of China-Central-Eastern European Countries" and the building of Liaoning "16+1" Economic & Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone. With the developmental philosophy of "deepening the cause of opening-up, accelerating the process of down-to-earth cooperation, promoting the prosperous development and sharing the achievements of development", and the economic trade and cooperation as the focus, the China (Liaoning) CEEC Pavilion aims to create the two-way comprehensive platform for the cooperation of China and CEE countries in the fields of economy, culture, education, tourism, exposition, investment and service, etc.

　　All guests home and abroad attending this ceremony have said that since the beginning of the "16+1" cooperation plan, with the developmental philosophy of "opening-up, cooperation and win-win situation", China and CEE countries have made many achievements in the field of multi-lateral trade and cooperation. All CEE countries shall seize the opportunity of the "golden age" for the cooperation with China to further develop the relationship with China. As the important window for the opening-up of China towards Northeast Asia, Liaoning has undertaken more responsibilities and missions than the past, and it will make full use of the current prosperous situation of the development and cooperation of China-Central-Eastern Europe in the fields of economy and trade, education and culture, etc. to participate in the construction of "the Belt and the Road" initiative with the aim of building the platform for the cooperation and mutual benefit of local governments in China and Central-Eastern Europe and to make positive contribution to the cooperation among all parties involved in the "16+1" cooperation plan.
