In order to further enhance mutual understanding, promote exchanges and cooperation between Liaoning and other countries in Northeast Asia as well as to achieve reciprocal benefit for a win-win situation, on November 4, 2019, the People's Government of Liaoning Province took the opportunity of the Second China International Import Expo to hold Liaoning Northeast Asia Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference in Shanghai. Invited to attend the conference are nearly 200 leaders and representatives from governments of Northeast-Asian countries, the well-known business organizations and world top 500 enterprises, such as Sompo Insurance China Co., Ltd., Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai, CJ Group of South Korea, Luo Gaoshou Russian-Chinese Analysis Center (Asia-Pacific Research Center) etc.

　　At the conference, Chen Luping, Vice Governor of Liaoning Province delivered a speech. He emphasized that expanding the opening up to Northeast Asia is one of the "two wings", which are of extreme importance for our province in the new pattern of opening up to the outside world. It is hoped that Liaoning will continue to strengthen its industrial docking with other countries in Northeast Asia, carry out investment cooperation, deepen economic and trade exchanges, and participate in the construction of the Northeast Asian economic circle. Song Yanlin, Director General of Department of Commerce of Liaoning Province, in his theme speech, put forward suggestions on strengthening cooperation with Northeast Asian countries by analyzing the advantages of our province through a great number of data and real cases. Mr. Nakagawa, Vice President of Sompo Insurance China Co., Ltd., and Mr. Go Hee Seok, Vice President of CJ China, spoke on behalf of Japanese and Korean companies. Introduction speeches were also made about the local development and advantages of the cities such as Shenyang, Dalian and Shenfu New District.

　　After the conference, representatives from cities of Liaoning province and Shenfu New District had an exchange of ideas with guests of the conference and actively carried out consultations on docking projects.
