On February 13th, Hao Peng, Secretary of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of People’s Congress of Liaoning Province, and Li Lecheng, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and Governor of Liaoning Province, met with the delegation led by Stefan Brandl, Vice Chairman of the Board and CEO of the DRÄXLMAIER Group of Germany.

  On behalf of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, Hao Peng and Li Lecheng extended a warm welcome to Stefan Brandl and his delegates. Hao Peng said that as one of the top 100 global automotive parts enterprises, DRÄXLMAIER Group has been committed to its business in Liaoning for over 20 years. In 2023, DRÄXLMAIER Group established its China headquarters in Shenyang. Taking such a concrete step, DRÄXLMAIER Group shows its implicit trust in Liaoning's business environment and development prospects. At present, Liaoning is thoroughly implementing the spirits of President Xi Jinping's crucial instructions and making arduous efforts to carry out the three-year action plan for revitalization and new breakthroughs in all aspects. The economy has registered an increasingly improved performance with good momentum for growth. The GDP of Liaoning has exceeded the national level for eight consecutive quarters. New developments and changes can be seen in all aspects of Liaoning. Before the Spring Festival, President Xi Jinping inspected Liaoning and made a series of important instructions on Liaoning’s revitalization and development. He expected that Liaoning remains committed to further promoting a wider high-standard further to the outside world. Recently, the Executive Meeting of the State Council has deliberated and approved “the Action Plan to Stabilize Foreign Investment in 2025”. And it proposes to ramp up continuous efforts to promote the Investment in China campaign and increases support for reinvestment in China by foreign-funded enterprises. It is believed that all these measures will unveil greater opportunities for DRÄXLMAIER Group to invest and do business in Liaoning. It is hoped that DRÄXLMAIER Group will further strengthen its confidence and leverage the strategic opportunities of the green and intelligent transformation of Liaoning's automotive industry. Furthermore, DRÄXLMAIER Group will continue to increase investment in Liaoning, deeply integrate into the supply chain and industrial chain of Liaoning's automotive industry, increase the procurement rate of local products in Liaoning, and thus achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

  Stefan Brandl expressed his gratitude to Liaoning for its strong support for the development of DRÄXLMAIER Group and extended his congratulations on the new economic and social achievements that Liaoning has gained. He said that Liaoning is full of vitality and has broad prospects, and DRÄXLMAIER Group is highly satisfied with the current business environment and work efficiency. In particular, in 2023, Secretary Hao Peng led a delegation to visit Germany. In 2024, I paid a return visit to Liaoning. The two meetings between the two sides have achieved positive results.
