On December 19, Pan Shuang, Director-general of Liaoning Department of Commerce met with the delegation led by Marco Olszewsky, President of RHI Magnesita China & East Asia. The two sides held an in-depth discussion on promoting further cooperation between RHI Magnesita and Liaoning.

  Director-general Pan Shuang welcomed President Marco Olszewsky to visit Liaoning and expressed her heartfelt thanks to RHI Magnesita for its long-term attention and support for the revitalization and development of Liaoning. In her speech, Director-general Pan Shuang pointed out that Liaoning is rich in magnesite resources, accounting for more than 80% of China's magnesite reserves, and has unique advantages in developing the magnesite-related industry. As a global leader in the refractory industry, RHI Magnesita has been committed to its business in Liaoning for many years. The refractory mixes, magnesia-carbon bricks and aluminum-magnesia-carbon bricks manufactured in Liaoning sell well at home and abroad. RHI Magnesita makes significant contributions to developing the industries such as equipment manufacturing, metallurgical new materials in Liaoning, and to increasing the import and export scale. It is hoped that RHI Magnesita will maintain firm confidence, introduce more core technologies and products into Liaoning, further expand its industrial layout in Liaoning, and collaborate with Liaoning enterprises and scientific research institutions to continuously promote the upgrading and iteration of refractories. So RHI Magnesita will lead the transformation and upgrading of the entire industry, and build Liaoning into an important production base and a research and development base for refractories in the world. Director-general Pan Shuang stated that Liaoning will spare no effort to build a business environment that is based on market and rule of law and is up to international standards. Efforts will be made to continuously optimize services for foreign-invested enterprises, foucs on the concerns of the enterprises, safeguard their legitimate rights and interests earnestly, effectively boost their satisfaction and sense of fulfillment, and firmly reinforce their confidence of investing and expanding their businesses in Liaoning.

  President Marco Olszewsky expressed his thanks to Director-general Pan Shuang for her warm reception. He said that RHI Magnesita Group is full of confidence in its development in Liaoning and fully endorses Director-general Pan Shuang's cooperation proposals. RHI Magnesita plans to extensively engage with local enterprises and initiate cooperation. It will also deepen cooperation with Liaoning in various business fields such as recycling recyclable materials and upgrading the R&D centers, so as to make more contributions to the high-quality development of Liaoning. 

  Li Jun, Deputy Director-general of Liaoning Department of Commerce, officials from the European and American Investment Office and Administrative Approval Office of the Liaoning Department of Commerce, officials from Yingkou Municipal Commerce Bureau and the staff members from the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China attended the meeting.
