On August 6th, Pan Shuang, Director-general of Liaoning Department of Commerce, met with YBhg. Dato’ Yeoh Soon Hin, Deputy Chairman of Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board and Chairman of Penang Port Commission and his delegation.
Director-general Pan Shuang extended a warm welcome to the delegation in her speech. At the same time, she introduced the highlights of Liaoning Province with particular emphasis on the outstanding achievements stemming from Liaoning’s three-year action of revitalization and new breakthroughs in all aspects. Moreover, she hoped that both sides would take this economic and trade exchange as an opportunity to foster deeper exchanges and cooperation, and jointly create a bright and mutually beneficial future.

  Yeoh Soon Hin vigorously expressed his strong will to conduct an in-depth cooperation with Liaoning in tourism, economy, trade and other fields. He hoped that both sides would strengthen the cooperation between the ports in Liaoning and Penang Port, resume the air routes from Kuala Lumpur and Penang to Shenyang, and facilitate the establishment of a branch of the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board in Shenyang. Meanwhile, he hoped to invite friends from all walks of life in Liaoning to take part in the Malaysia Tourism Year activities, and collaboratively launch tourism, economic and trade activities.

  Guo Bin, Deputy Director-general of Liaoning Department of Commerce, along with people in charge from the Division of Service Trade and Commercial Service Industry of Liaoning Department of Commerce and Liaoning Provincial Beauty and Hairdressing Association, participated in the meeting.
