Huludao City, the newest prefecture-level city in Liaoning Province, lies nestled along the shores of Liaodong Bay. Its strategic location, flanked by Jinzhou to the east and Qinhuangdao to the west, has earned it the designation of "Beijing's backyard." With a sprawling expanse spanning 10,400 square kilometers and a vibrant population of 2.43 million, Huludao beckons investors with promising opportunities.
Located strategically at the convergence of the Northeast Economic Zone, the Bohai Rim Economic Zone, and the Belt and Road Initiative, Huludao emerges as a vital nexus in Liaoning's coastal economic belt, recognized as one of the pilot zones for Coordinated Development within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Huludao is also designated as a tourism pioneering zone for Coordinated Development within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, a demonstration zone for military-civilian integration and innovation, a national e-commerce demonstration city, an experimental zone for the commitment system in Dongdaihe, and a pilot city for optimizing the business environment nationwide.
With a coastline spanning 261 kilometers, featuring 100 kilometers of deep-water port access, Huludao boasts a natural deep-water harbor, which is silt-free and ice-free, earning recognition as a Class I open port.

It has garnered recognition as a national outstanding tourist destination, acclaimed as a National Garden City, a National Forest City, and China's City of Hot Springs. Renowned as one of the most beautiful cultural and tourist destinations in the country, Huludao boasts unique attractions such as the Jiumenkou Great Wall, the only segment of the Great Wall extending over water, and Ningyuan Ancient City, esteemed among the best-preserved Ming Dynasty sites in China. Notable landmarks include White Wolf Mountain, Chrysanthemum Island, and the historic Xingcheng hot springs dating back to the Tang Dynasty. With a harmonious blend of cityscape, hot springs, mountains, seas, and islands, Huludao presents a captivating fusion of nature and culture.
Huludao's core industries are thriving, enjoying nationwide renown. Its four pillar sectors—petrochemicals, equipment manufacturing, non-ferrous metals, and energy and power—are experiencing significant growth. Huludao serves as a crucial hub for chemical raw material production in China, boasting leading capacities in epoxy propane, caustic soda, and PVC production in Asia. Currently, we are actively advancing the development of six major industrial bases, including equipment manufacturing, metal smelting, fine chemicals, swimwear, new energy, and new materials.
The emerging industries in Huludao are experiencing significant growth. Building upon the pathways of marine economy, digital economy, and green economy development, we are bolstering our core industries while fostering innovation in new energy, new materials, fine chemicals, modern agriculture, cultural tourism and wellness, swimwear, commerce and logistics, and nuclear sectors. It leads Northeast China as the first city to pioneer the "Internet + Foreign Trade" model and serves as the nation's pioneer city for cross-border e-commerce exports in the swimwear sector, earning the esteemed title of the "Swimwear City of China." Xingcheng City is the world's largest hub for swimwear production and distribution, designated as the permanent venue for the China International Swimwear Expo.
Huludao is endowed with a comprehensive range of innovative elements.
