On February 21, 2025, Pan Shuang, Director-general of Liaoning Department of Commerce, met with the delegation led by Liu Jian, China Region partner and executive of IMG Group from the United Arab Emirates. 
Liu Jian first introduced IMG Group’s core business and ongoing projects in China.  He then elaborated on the proposed cooperation projects and work plans of the entire agricultural industry chain with Liaoning. Also, he expressed his sincere hope for support from Department of Commerce of Liaoning Province and relevant departments.

  Director-general Pan Shuang extended a warm welcome to Liu Jian and his delegation. She highlighted that Liaoning currently attaches great importance to economic and trade cooperation with the UAE and other Middle East countries. And the bilateral interactions have become increasingly close with substantial fruitful results yielded. Liaoning has a strong agricultural foundation, which will provide solid support for the implementation of this project. The Department of Commerce of Liaoning Province will spare no effort in supporting this project, and coordinating with relevant departments to facilitate its early realization. At the same time, considering the wide spectrum of IMG Group's business, Director-general Pan Shuang hoped that both sides will take this meeting as an opportunity to enhance exchanges and mutual visits in order to deepen and expand cooperation across diversified business sectors.

  Liu Jian agreed with Director-general Pan Shuang’s points of view, expressed gratitude and pledged to maintain a close tie with the Department of Commerce of Liaoning Province. He expressed that while advancing the implementation of the project, IMG Group will actively explore new cooperation fields. 

  Wang Yuping, Deputy Director-general of Liaoning Department of Commerce, and relevant officials from the Division of Foreign Economic Cooperation and the Division of Foreign Investment Administration of Liaoning Department of Commerce, attended the meeting.
