Enhance the Quality of Influencer Economy and Boost the Momentum of Mass Consumption-The 1st China (Liaoning) Internet Celebrities Economic Cooperation & Exchange Week Kicks off

  On November 19th, the 1st China (Liaoning) Internet Celebrities Economic Cooperation & Exchange Week kicked off in Shenyang, highlighting the theme of "Enhance the Quality of Influencer Economy and Boost the Momentum of Mass Consumption". The Week was held in accordance with the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the crucial remarks made by General Secretary Xi Jinping regarding the development of the service industry. It leveraged Liaoning's edges of influencer economy and built up a platform for exchanges and matchmaking. By assembling influencer resources in China, it explored into cooperation approaches within the influencer economic sector. Thus it contributed to promoting the high-quality economic development of Liaoning Province and the three-year action for achieving new breakthroughs in the revitalization in all aspects. Hao Peng, Secretary of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of People’s Congress of Liaoning Province, attended the launch ceremony and declared the Week open. Li Lecheng, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and Governor of Liaoning Province, and Xu Xingfeng, Director of China International Electronic Commerce Center (CIECC) and Party Secretary, were also present and addressed the launch ceremony.

  Li Lecheng, on behalf of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, extended a warm welcome and sincere gratitude to all the guests in his speech. He noted that Liaoning has a rich historical and cultural heritage, remarkable advantages in opening up, a great variety of local specialties, as well as abundant cultural and tourism resources. E-commerce live-streaming bases are booming in Liaoning, while a large number of live-streaming talents are converging on Liaoning. Thus, Liaoning provides a unique environment for developing the influencer economy. At present, Liaoning is fully implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches, instructions, and directives regarding the revitalization of Northeast China and Liaoning in all aspects. Liaoning is vigorously carrying out the three-year action to achieve new breakthroughs in revitalization in all aspects. Liaoning is emerging as a fertile ground where all kinds of talents can realize their ambitions and achieve remarkable success. It is expected that all guests will actively participate in Liaoning’s dedication to Chinese path to modernization, tell inspiring Liaoning stories, promote Liaoning brands, and publicize Liaoning products. In this regard, more "Liaoning Premium Products" will enter the domestic market across China, reach global consumers. Meanwhile, more people will be attracted to integrate into and fall in love with Liaoning. Liaoning will continue to create a market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment, optimize the development ecosystem for the E-commerce industry, so as to transform data traffic into a "steady stream" and internet celebrities into "everlasting stars". Liaoning will make joint efforts with all guests to write a new chapter of win-win cooperation.

  Xu Xingfeng said in his speech that the China International Electronic Commerce Center (CIECC), serving as a digital promoter in the commercial industry and an E-commerce service provider in China, has been dedicated to advancing the high-quality development of China’s E-commerce industry. The Center has also forged extensive and in-depth cooperation with Liaoning in many fields. It is believed that Liaoning will emerge as a new hub for live-streaming E-commerce renowned for its "internet celebrities". Moreover, the group of influencers, representatives of "idol internet anchors", "live-streamers showing factory products and production", and "live-streamers presenting rural products and local features", will surely play a crucial role in boosting consumption and accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading.

  At the launch ceremony, the Liaoning Provincial Department of Commerce took the stage to present a promotional introduction. Also, the Luxiang Lvgang Information Technology Company from Xifeng County, Tieling, shared its valuable experience. Subsequently, the signing ceremony was held on site for a group of projects. Notably, the "Liaoning Brand Map and Product Selection System" and the "Proposal on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Liaoning's Influencer Economy" were released at the same time. In parallel, the China E-commerce Anchor Competition (Northeast Region) and the 2024 "Youth Cup" Liaoning Brand Creativity and Communication Competition were officially initiated.

  After the launch ceremony, the leaders and guests made an exhibition tour together. In the live-streaming zones for product selection of 14 cities, the exquisitely designed booths, the uniquely arranged display stands, and a dazzling array of trendy domestic products were a feast for eyes. The internet anchors set up their mobile phone holders, opened the live-streaming rooms of E-commerce platforms, vividly and enthusiastically shared with their followers the premium products from Liaoning. They introduced the beautiful landscapes of Liaoning, wholeheartedly showed their talents, skills, and came up with catchy phrases, promoting and cheering for Liaoning. The scene was extraordinarily lively and bustling with excitement.

  The Week has received strong support from internet celebrity anchors and platform institutions nationwide. A total of 12,000 internet celebrity anchors were mobilized by E-commerce live-streaming bases in Liaoning to provide assistance. Their efforts have been centered to spotlight and advocate high-quality consumer products and local featured agricultural products of Liaoning. The influence of Liaoning's influencer economy has been enhanced across the whole internet. Moreover, the Week has provided an important platform and a significant opportunity for spurring the transformation and upgrading of Liaoning's industries, augmenting consumption quality and scale, and fostering the integrated development of culture, sports, and tourism.

  Attending the launch ceremony were leaders from Liaoning Province and Shenyang City including Jiang Youwei and Lv Zhicheng, colleagues from the relevant departments of the Ministry of Commerce, people in charge from the relevant provincial departments, cities and Shenfu Reform and Innovation Demonstration Zone, heads from well-known E-commerce platforms such as Kuaishou, JD.com and Douyin, renowned internet celebrity anchors, representatives from industry associations and enterprises. Wang Libo, vice Governor of Liaoning Province, presided over the launch ceremony.
