To further implement the spirit of the instruction of Governor Tang Yijun, deepen the all-round cooperation between Liaoning Province and Sunwah Group, and promote the economic and trade cooperation between Liaoning and the countries along “the Belt and the Road” using the client resources of Sunwah Group in SE Asian countries to help Liaoning expand its import and export scales, Liaoning economic & trade delegation held “Liaoning-Cambodia Economic & Trade Communication and Promotion Conference” in Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia on March 13th, 2019. The delegation met with many responsible persons of local governmental agencies, trade organizations and enterprise associations in Cambodia such as deputy ministers of Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Agriculture, Chinese ambassador in Cambodia, Cambodia National General Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, THE China Hong Kong & Macau Expatriate & Business Association, Cambodia-China Friendship Association, Liaoning Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, Anhui Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, and Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, etc. This conference has made considerable achievements.  

　　Agriculture is the most important pillar industry of Cambodia. The country has rich resources of forest, fishes, and fruits, which has many common points and high-degree complimentary features with those of Liaoning in trade and processing of agricultural products, with great potential for deepening trade cooperation in the future. This conference has built a solid platform for the communication of economic trade of all relevant enterprises in Liaoning and Cambodia. During the conference, Cai Juansi, Executive Director and CEO of Sunwah Group, made an address, and Director General of Liaoning Provincial Department of Commerce, made a keynote speech to introduce the excellent developing situation of Liaoning’s economy and society, with great emphasis on the promotion of the key products and industries concerning the trade cooperation between Liaoning and Cambodia. Fan Zuoji, President of Liaoning Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, Zhang Jianqiang, Director of Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Xing Jun, General Manager of Liaoning Agricultural Products Trade Group, Li Hai, President of Xinlongjia Modern Agriculture Co., and the responsible person of Xiliu Market of Haicheng, also made speeches successively. With a lively atmosphere in the conference as well as the strong eagerness to cooperate, enterprises of both sides were conducting intimate communication, especially those from Cambodia: With a large number of participating enterprises, they were making constant negotiation with the enterprises from Liaoning in front of the exhibits and advertising boards.  

　　With remarkable achievements, this conference built a platform for expanding the scale of bilateral trade between Liaoning and Cambodia, as well as opening new cooperating channels and space for both sides.
