Found in May 2003, BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. is a joint venture established by BMW Group and Brilliance Auto Group. It is mainly engaged in production, sales and after-sales service of BMW vehicles, mainly including six series with more than 30 models. These series of vehicles comprise BMW 1 Series, Innovative BMW 2 Series Station Wagon, BMW 3 Series (including standard wheelbase and long wheelbase), BMW 5 Series Li, BMW X1, and BMW X3. It has two OEMs in Shenyang: Tiexi Plant and Dadong Plant. The New Engine Plant, next to the new Tiexi Plant, went into operation in January 2016 to produce the latest generation of BMW 3-cylinder and 4-cylinder turbocharged engines. In April 2013, BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. launched a new brand: Zinoro. Its first product BEV Zinoro 1E was brought to market in the first quarter of 2014, which was the first high-end ESAV in China. Then the high-end plug-in hybrid SUV Zinoro 60H was introduced in early 2017.
